Is Tinkerbell a fairy or a pixie?

I was watching Return to Neverland last night and they called her a fairy most of the time, and then sometimes they refered to her as a pixie.
She lives in Pixie Hollow though……what is she?!! Lol thanks! :D Yes, there is a big difference between fairies and pixies. Look it up.

Quite frankly, Disney is WRONG. In the original book Tinkerbell is a pots and pans fairy, (whatever that means) and she is dead from old age by the end of the book because fairies don’t have very long lives. The book Peter Pan was written as an adult book about how cruel children can be and often are. So Tink was a stuck up fairy and Peter was a cruel and forgetful boy.
