In the Tinkerbell DVD, are fairies OK role models or do they act like divas, lovesick girls, or mean and catty?

I don’t let my 3 girls- all under 5- watch shows where girls are portrayed as weak, cowardly, boy crazy, gossipy, and all those sexist protrayals girls are bombarded with. Is this movie OK?

yes it is a really good cartoon for young kids
it’s a confadence booster type cartoon

    I haven’t seen it, but they seem pretty girly from all the merchandise I saw while working in the Disney store. But they don’t seem petty, jealous, or boy crazy

    And I would like to say I commend you for trying to find positive role models for your girls to watch. I don’t respect people who buy Bratz dvds for their kids.
