How does Tinkerbell fly during the fireworks at Magic Kingdom?

I’m always curious about this, and now that I am going back, I’m even more curious.

Please no "fairy dust" answers. I’m looking for serious stuff here.

Some examples:
Does she use a harness?
Where is she launched from?
Do you need special training?
What are some risks?

Anything and everything is appreciated!

There is a wire from the top of the Magic Kingdom & when the lights dim, Tink is hoisted on the wire & is harnessed in to fly from that location to backstage behind Tomorrow Land Noodle Station. It’s very quick & she is in a green lighted costume with wand. It’s a real person that is a Disney Cast Member. If it is raining or too windy, Tink will not fly due to risk to the cast member.

There is a wire from the castle to the roof in tomorrowland. Yes uses a harness and I am sure they get training for doing something like that.

They get tink ready when they dim the lights to begin the fireworks.
If it is too windy during the show she will not fly down. The wire is there during the daytime they do not remove it.

First of all, there is a line from the castle to space mountain. Then, someone from the nearby show cirque di soleil comes and does the acrobatic portion of it because it’s a risky job. I know I would wet my pants if I were up there.

She is harnessed and launched somewhere at the top of the castle. There is not really "special training". She/he has to know how it works and stuff.
