Four years ago, my aunt gave me a small crown to play with. Not just any ordinary plastic crown, but a real crown made of metal and glass. I left it rotting inside a box for 4 years until now, and my mom found it. It was missing a gem. But the day before that, I was playing Neopets and 2 of the white gems fell off my shirt. I left them lying on the floor. I took one of the gems and put it on the crown. It was a clever fix!

Months before that, I had something MUCH more exciting than fixing a hair accessory. My mom found a small key, and she called it a “Skeleton Key”. My brother told her that it was a real, actual key. He kept it in his room for 4 months. He suspected that it was the key to his room, but it was just so rusted that it wouldn’t fit. My house IS 70 years old. As I watched him play video games, I played with the key. I tried to see if it would open his closet, but it didn’t work. I tried to open several doors, but nothing worked. The next day, I tried the closet in my room. There was another key in there! It seemed to be more rusted than the other one. Keep in mind that “P5″ was written on the key to my room, and “P9″ was written on the other key. My brother said that my closet was door P5. He said to look for door P9.I checked the closet next to the living room. The key fit! I showed the key in my closet to my mom. She said it might fit it other doors. I tried my brother’s closet. It fit there!
