okay,maybe men too, but the obsession with childrens toys astounds me. i don’t mean folks with rc vehicles or pool tables. i mean the hello kitty accessories, tigger sweatshirts and various cartoon fashions. is it supposed to be cute? maybe it’s my poor taste, but it seems a little juvenile for a 55 year old woman to carry a tinkerbell lunch pail as a purse. is this like women dressing like the naughty school girl in uniform and white cotton panties? this really seems like a tease to pedophiles. they seem to really like the little girl look as well. piggie tails and all. maybe it’s me, but it seem sort of creepy.

I’m a grown man (61) and I’m into Shrek. I can identify with his persona.
I have a big Shrek doll that rides on my motorcycle on runs. He has a helmet, sunglasses, reflective vest, red/white/blue arm band. When he’s not on a PGR run with me, folks wonder why. Course, when my lady is with me, Shrek has to stay home. One of my friends bought some Mac & Cheese in a box in Shrek shapes and brought it to me! One of the guys I ride with in the PGR calls Shrek my ’son’…"Where’s your son?"

I’m not a poser or a wannabe. So whatever. I’d like to try a scene/emo hairstyle. I also think their choice of clothing is rather cute :] I love cartoons, Hello Kitty, Betty Boop, Tinkerbell, etc. I love outrageous, cool fun clothes. I also like name brand clothes, Aeropostale, stuff like that, high end brands like Juicy Couture and all that. I have a very wide imagination when it comes to clothes and accessories. I’ve never really had a chance to express my imagination in the way I dress and becoming scene/emo would help me to do that. It would be a fun experience for me and it would also be fun to branch out from the way kids at my school dress, even though we’re in uniform. Their style is really urban, rap, hip hop, like that. That’s cute too but I wanna be different by being scene(or emo). I know there’s other scene kids out there, I’m not trying to say I wanna be the first or whatever, I just want to have a different style from people at school and also add some fun to our uniform policy, even though we can’t do much, blahh. As for the music, I’ll listen to basically anything that has a good beat and lyrics, no matter what it is, it can be in a different language for all I care. If it’s good I’ll listen to it. I don’t have a Facebook, Twitter, or Myspace, but that can always change I have no idea what kind of name I’d have but I’d think of something. I am a 12 year old girl that is very girly. I am making a Christmas list early because my relatives like
to do their gift shopping before everybody else.I am not really into makeup and perfume that much yet. And I don’t really like giftcards. I already own:

Every DVD imaginable
Uggs
An iPod touch
A cell phone, and yes it’s pink!
A Wii + A bunch of games including RockBand
A DS
Two closets full of clothes
A TON of shoes
A LOT of purses (I love bags, but my parents think that I have too many!)
Lots of accessories (I don’t have my ears pierced, and I don’t want them pierced!)
Skateboard

I am asking for a hockey jersey (With a name and number on the back!), anything Tinkerbell or pink, a digital camera, one of those thin wallets, and I’m going to try to get my aunt to get me another hobo bag from Forever 21.

You should be thankful for what you have and tell them you don’t want anything but love and attention. It seems to me that you have everything you need. Maybe you should donate some old things to charity so the kids without real homes can stay warm this winter or enjoy a nice purse or dress shoes. If you have two closets full of clothing I’m sure you could spare at least a pair of jeans for a poor innocent child who pants are ripped up and her legs are shivering. I might sound rude but think about the less forunate this year. I am not saying your a bad person but sometimes its good to give back, you can get the best gift of all if you do. That good feeling in your heart to know that you helped another being.

In Japan, the young adults (18+) have hellokitty accessories. Many young adults also have cute and sparkling pink items in their room and on their clothes without getting looked down upon. A lot of their entertainment (music/anime) is also adorable in nature.

But in the U.S. anything that is cute, like hello kitty is labeled [for children]. And if even teenagers (I won’t even meantion young adults)have them they are looked upon as immature.

Do any U.S. teens girls feel embarrased of having certain cute things still? I know a lot of my friends threw out all of their girly things "like fuzzy tinkerbell pillow/lisa frank pen" even though they like REALLY them.

well i still love barbie dolls. lol! yes i know i sound childish but i’m very mature for a 14 year old. i quite playing barbies when my dad told me one day that santa wasn’t going to give me barbies anymore cause i was all grown up. that was when i was 8 or 9. but i still have those urges to pull out my barbies and play with them. haha! but i don’t. & i saved them. they are in my room and i am never giving them away, because they were apart of my childhood and i miss those days.

What costume should I do for halloween this year? I wanna basically make my own with bought accessories n stuff, I wanted to be a toga (greek) goddess or a gothic tinkerbell, Maybe a Hawaiian princess. IDK ! Ideas & Hot to are appreciated. -Hannah (13 year old girl, non slutty please:D)
