I know they are probably not, but the movie "Tinker Bell" makes them seem so real to me. Sometimes when I day dream, I wish that I was a Disney Fairy. Please don’t answer if you are going to insult me. I just want to know. Yes, I understand that the Disney ones are probably not real, but are there nice fairies out there like them? I love how there are Animal Fairies, Tinker Fairies, Garden Fairies, Water Fairies, Light Fairies, etc. in the movie. Anyways, is there such thing? I want somebody to answer me with knowledge, and not just, "Yes, I saw them." Thank You.

Disney’s Fairies was quite well told. The sign of a good book or movie is being sucked into their world easily.

I mean, all I can get up yto is making a house and thats it. Is there more that that? I know there is something else to do. They only have 2 games! I mean………. sheesh! I know there is Tinkerbell, but I have seen other fairies called "Disney Fairies" they are all different.

Tinker Bell has a DVD with the Peter Pan Movie. The DVD is interactive. I think that’s where it all got started. so in backwards fashion- the clamor for the stuff came before the actual movie.
There is a Tinker Bell movie in the works. I guess it’s in post- production.

Which one should a 12 yr old like? I wanna like Disney b/c im going to Disneyland soon and whenever i like something else and then i go there, i always HAVE TO LIKE DISNEY!!! I would say Disney because it’s more original than those Clique books you read. You’re never too old to like Disney. The purpose of the Disney genre is to bring out the child in everyone. Walt didn’t intend for Disney characters to be just for children. He also wanted to attract adults as well. I’m 18 and I absolutely still adore Disney! I especially ove Marie, the little kitty from the Aristocats. I even bought a cute hat with her stitched onto it. But Disney is for everyone. Your friends seem like they’re trying to be mainstream.

in disney’s pixie hollow there were several original fairies, rani, prilla, fira, beck, and lily, and a few others. why did disney replace them with the new fairies, silvermist, iridessa, rosetta, and fawn?

This is a interesting question that my friends and I have talked about this at great length. Most people seem to think that it may have been a mere copy right issue. Others may think that Disney was just looking to start fresh. I know that they are now incorporating the original fairies into the online game, so maybe they will be featured in the movies as they progress. Unless Disney has released a statement, or plans to in the future, we may never know why they chose to bring new fairies onto the scene.
