Tinkerbell

Does anybody have any creative suggestions for games at a Tinkerbell themed baby shower. I can’t seem to think of anything to do with fairies
Hmm, I saw some super cute fabric at Joann’s that had little princess fairies on it. It was really cute and nice weight. What if you made something out of that? A receiving blanket you could lay across the table like a little runner or something? Or you could focus on the colors and sparkly magical sort of decorations and get/make a fairy themed diaper cake to pull it all together!
I was wondering how to make one because i need to ask my mom to make one for me because i have a halloween carnival coming up and i want to look very pretty.
Pale green jumper. You can buy a pattern from Simplicity. The hardest part is the material. It’s a flimsy cotton. Spring is definitely the time to go to a fabric store. You want to get a very minty or kelly green. Make a jagged hemline. Wear hose, ballet shoes and pink lipstick. Don’t forget to pout most of the night.
The color of her outfit changes all the time depending on which storyline you are following but I would recommend buying felt for the collar in a paler shade than the dress. It can be pale yellow, pale mint, ivory…doesn’t really matter. And cutting it like Grateful Dead bears. Before you put the collar on the dress (and you’ll want to do this part right before Halloween) Take some spray adhesive and spray the collar. Put Gold glitter all over it. Buy a set of really big wings at the Party store. They are about $15.
The hair is the hardest part b/c everyone knows Tinkerbell for her spikey blonde hair. If you don’t wish to cut your hair, I’d start looking now for a wig. It isn’t easy to find. Wigs are rather expensive too. You’d probably spend about $20 on that. Spray some of that gold hair paint in your hair/wig as well. Between the collar and the glitter in your hair, glitter will fall behind you as you walk.
My lil cousin carried a lil bag. They bought gold foil and tore it up into the tiniest pieces so that her whole lil bag was filled with gold foil in case anyone asked for a lil bit of pixie dust.
Check ebay out–you might be able to find a Tink costume from last year easier and cheaper than you could make it yourself since it’s such a simple, inexpensive costume to begin with.

okay,maybe men too, but the obsession with childrens toys astounds me. i don’t mean folks with rc vehicles or pool tables. i mean the hello kitty accessories, tigger sweatshirts and various cartoon fashions. is it supposed to be cute? maybe it’s my poor taste, but it seems a little juvenile for a 55 year old woman to carry a tinkerbell lunch pail as a purse. is this like women dressing like the naughty school girl in uniform and white cotton panties? this really seems like a tease to pedophiles. they seem to really like the little girl look as well. piggie tails and all. maybe it’s me, but it seem sort of creepy.

I have a big Shrek doll that rides on my motorcycle on runs. He has a helmet, sunglasses, reflective vest, red/white/blue arm band. When he’s not on a PGR run with me, folks wonder why. Course, when my lady is with me, Shrek has to stay home. One of my friends bought some Mac & Cheese in a box in Shrek shapes and brought it to me! One of the guys I ride with in the PGR calls Shrek my ’son’…"Where’s your son?"

I want to try out for the part of Tinkerbell … Maybe like in the parade ? What is required ? Dance skills or something ?
They have open calls for face characters and other actors in Disney parks. Sometimes, for various reasons, they will start you out in a fur costume (like Mickey, Donald, Goofy, etc.) and you can move up to face character (Cinderella, Alice, Cruella, Tink, etc.) I’ve also known people to be picked for face right away. However, sometimes even if you’re selected, it could be months before you are actually called in to start playing the character. Also, depending on your look, if you’re selected you could end up covering several characters. There are also strict height requirements for characters, especially with Tink I know you’ll have to be pretty short to play.
Open calls usually include typing (basically them looking you over), dance and singing. Some parts of the audition might be optional, but it would be to your benefit to participate in all parts of the audition. That way, you’re not just a pretty face. You bring some talent to the mix.
I suggest, if you don’t have any performance experience, you look into some improvisational classes. If you’re a face character, you will most likely spend time both in parades and walking around the park, greeting and entertaining guests. You need to be able to stay in-character while talking to the guests, and there is obviously not a script to fit each person you talk to. Improv skills and the ability to stay in-character are a must.

Read around and then go to the Audition Calender (first tab on the upper left). You should find some upcoming auditions for face characters. It looks like the next dates for what you are looking for are the auditions on January 6, 7, 10 and 21.

I found out that if you go to settings>about sidekick3>and hold menu, shift and the 8 button you can unlock a snowboarding game. I wanted to know if anyone knew any other cool things like that for the sidekick 3.
here are the ones i know
Mirror-
Press menu + shift + m to make the screen go black giving you an ability to reflect things in your sidekick screen imitating a mirror.
Capture Screen-
Press menu + shift + camera button to capture the the screen at any time. It will prompt you to send the picture to a email address
there isnt any thing really hidden like the game though
No fighting games or Neopets or Build-A-Bearville or any website where you have to buy a toy and use it online. Anything a ten year old girl could do.

What accent do they do in Peter Pan the Musical (Like with Cathy Rigby, or Mary Martin)
I want to practice it because my dream role is Peter in the show. The accent that Cathy Rigby does is best, so what kind of accent does she do? If you don’t know the show, look up Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby on YouTube and click on one of the "Parts" of the movie. Thanks!
Cathy Rigby does an mild approximation of a Cockney (working-class, east London) accent, presumably to contrast with Wendy’s middle-to-upper-class, west London accent. But there’s nothing in the script that says Peter should have that accent, and a different director might want him to have a accent like Wendy’s (which fits the character’s backstory), or whatever the actor uses naturally (like Jeremy Sumpter).
Also, be careful with accents. Unless you do it really well, it can come across as a bit of a joke. You don’t want to speak Cockney like Dick VanDyke in "Mary Poppins", or Scots like Groundskeeper Willy in "The Simpsons". If Cathy Rigby were to perform with that accent in Britain, the audience would notice that she doesn’t use it consistently, and it’d be distracting.

Get Pokemon games. They are addictive and are great games to play.
You should get Pokemon platinum and get Pokemon Heart Gold or Soul Silver when it comes out in March.
I don’t want it to be to revealing and it is winter. I have a bit of an idea i have a few ideas: belle(from beauty and the beast), aurora(from sleeping beauty) and tinker bell. Please help me decide or more suggestions!!!!

I think a charachter that you could go REALLY dressed up as.
I really like the idea of Belle or Cinderella. There’s also always Anastasia because she wears beautiful dresses.
If i were you I would pick Anastasia, because she isn’t one of the Disney Princesses so I think you’d be more individual than the 25 Cinderellas that will probably turn up, and Anastasia wears nice jewelley, so you wouldn’t have to make it all about the dress.
