How does Tinkerbell fly at Disneyland at the new Fireworks show.
I know that she is strapped to a harness and all that but how does she go back and forth from the Matterhorn and the west side of Fantasyland.
Is she on some type of electronic pulley system that has a box type thing on the part that she is hooked to, to make her go up and down or what.

Please I need to know.

Tinkerbell is a fairy who can change her size appearing small or large and of course needs no assistance flying. On the occasion that Tinkerbell herself is not available, the park enlists the help of some of her friends who, naturally since they are not fairies, do need mechanical assistance.

There are a set of guidewires leading from near the top of the Matterhorn to a tall tree structure behind the (former) Fantasyland Skyway Station. Prior to the debut of "Remember… Dreams Come True" in 2005 for the park’s 50th anniversary, the friend of Tink launched herself down the guidewires on a one-way journey to be caught by mattress-wielding cast members at the landing station. This system has now been replaced by a motorized carrier that moves back and forth on the guidewires, plus has the ability to raise and lower Tink’s friend, just as you described. This allows Tink to make several appearances during the show and appear to fly around the castle.

While I’ve read several claims that sometimes Tink’s friend is a man, I’ve seen no credible evidence to back that up. Telephoto pictures I’ve seen clearly show a woman wearing an oversized Tink-shaped helmet. to my understanding, Tinks friends have always been female circus aerialists starting with Tiny Kline back in the park’s early days.

Some of these questions and their resonding answers seem like they must be a secret code. They just don’t make sense and they get answered?

My daughter wants her room decarated with Disney character’s. I think she’s getting to old for characters like Cinderella and Tinker Bell, but maybe it’s ok to use High School Musical and Hanna Montanna as a theme for her room.

Not at all. I’m 23 and I still watch cartoons! And I know college students who put Tinker Bell stickers on their car windows.

Remember, it’s her room and she has to look at it every day. It is her sanctuary. It should reflect her personality and preferences. Listen to what she wants and let her know that her opinions matter. Even to a 7 year old, it’s really important.

But like most kids, her tastes may change. From a financial stand point, changing everything in a room would be draining every few years. I wouldn’t invest in expensive wall paper or themed carpeting. Try painting her room in a neutral color or better yet, her favorite color. Then, add a rug, framed pictures, posters, a bed comforter and figurines that go with her current theme. As she gets older, she may want switch out the some of the posters and the bedding. They won’t be expensive to replace!

Let her be active in choosing the theme and decorations for her room. It’s a great bonding experience and a self-confidence builder.

Why would anyone want to be a princess? Queens are where it’s at! They get so much power in a monarchy, especially if they’re not married. Is disney trying to promote the idea that women shouldn’t have power?

I put in the batteries and plugged it into the remote but i cant tell if it should be on while chargeing or off…and how long should it charge. It does nothing when I turn the switch to the remote on

It must be turned off when charging (in the directions). After it is plugged in you must push the middle of the flower on the remote to get it to charge. It will start to flash. Tinkerbell hangs on the remote while charging and will turn off when done. Be careful when flying. It is delicate and our broke after one day. My little girl is none too happy.

On www.pixiehollow.com I made an acount. Don’t know why. but I want to be able to talk with out using the speed chat thing where you chose from a list of words. How do i get to speed chat plus or whatever so I can type my own message?
